After more than 20 years in the hi-tech world, in which he sold three companies, Oudi Antebi decided to return to Israel after his long stay in the US and to his first love: music. He began studying at Rimon and focused on musical production studies. At the same time, he engaged in consultation with entrepreneurs.
While studying at Rimon School for music, Oudi met a team of acclaimed producers, Tal Forer, Yinon Yahel and Stav Beger with whom he shared the vision of building a new kind of music company, one that recognizes and leverages the major changes happening in the music industry for the benefit of artists in Israel and globally.
כשהחל ללמוד ברימון, אודי חיפש אולפן-משרד מוזיקה משלו וכך הגיעאחרי יותר מ-20 שנה בעולם ההייטק שבהן עשה 3 אקזיטים, החליט אודי ענתבי לחזור משהותו הארוכה בארה”ב לארץ ולאהבה הראשונה שלו: מוזיקה
לאולפן של המפיק הישראלי טל פורר. תוך כדי שיחה עמו התחיל אודי להבין את השינויים המואצים בעולם המוזיקה ואת הקשיים של התעשייה המקומית להדביק את הקצב המסחרר שלו.
Together with their 5th partner Amit Shine who comes with over 20 years of experience in the music business they founded Session 42, inspired by the book “the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy” in which it was written that 42 was the answer to everything: “the answer to life, the universe and everything”).
The team’s vision was to establish Session42 in a tech-like startup mentality. Oudi was quoted saying “We’re a startup, but instead of developers we have producers and instead of technology we make music, but otherwise we’re a real startup”
